recorded as claro correcto, oram uses one of Daphne Oram’s snake like mathematical drawings as the basis to create back drop drones.  Her surname, Oram, coincidentally means serpent; a secondary meaning of which, is a sly or treacherous person, especially one who exploits a position of trust in order to betray.  oram is a response to what is happening in Ukraine at the hands of a serpent.  Using field recordings, it incorporates simple sounds that we take for granted.  Everyday sounds that have been stolen from the people of Ukraine - bird song, the sound of machinery, a vehicle peeping its horn, the melody of a piano, chatting and laughter.
